A Bit of Information About Learning Lab
The Ladue School District's Learning Lab program is based on the District's mission to ensure the highest possible level of academic achievement and personal responsibility for each of it's students.  The District acknowledges that some students need a differentiated approach to learning, including interventions outside the classroom.
The primary goal of this program is to help students achieve academic success, while acquiring positive self-esteem and developing habits of mind that allow them to become independent and responsible learners.  Specialized teachers work with classroom teachers to meet the needs of students who can benefit from additional support and/or instruction.  Reading instruction is the primary focus for the Learning Lab.
The Learning Lab delivers programming in various ways.  Direct services provide individual or small-group instruction on a specific skill/s.  As part of our support team, the Learning Lab Teacher may consult with students, teachers and parents.
